Mitsubishi Pajero - 2nd Gen (1992 to 1999)

The second generation of Mitsubishi Pajero, also known as the Montero or Shogun, was introduced for the 1992 model year. The second generation Pajero was offered as a series of mid-size three or five door SUVs offered with a choice of inline four or V6 engines. Due to its all-terrain capabilities, Mitsubishi actively participated in a wide range of offroad motorsports, including the Paris-Dakar Rally. The most notable Pajero variant, the Pajero Evolution, was created to meet homologation requirements for the Dakar. Production of the second generation Pajero lasted until 1999, when it was replaced by the Third Generation Mitsubishi Pajero.
