The third generation of Morgan 4/4 was known as the Series III, and was introduced for the 1961 model year. This short lived generation of 4/4 was largely the same as its predecessor, except for its slightly wider track, updated shock absorbers, and most notably, its Ford 1.0L inline four engine. Just 58 examples of the Series III were built before Morgan introduced the 4/4 Series IV.
