Nash Ambassador - Pre-War (1932 to 1942)

Nash first introduced the Ambassador in 1932. Previously, the Ambassador name was used for the top trim level on the Nash Advanced Six, but starting in 1932, the name was applied to an independent model. Initially the Ambassador was launch with an inline eight engine, but in 1936 an inline six was added to the range. A variety of open and closed body styles were offered on the Ambassador, which saw production disrupted by WW2, with production halting in 1942. After the war, the Post-War Ambassadors were introduced.
