Packard Cavalier (1953 to 1954)

The Packard Cavalier was a series of luxury cars introduced for the 1953 model year. The Cavalier was an evolution of the Packard 300, and sat in the middle of the model range. The Cavalier was mainly offered as sedan during production, but for 1953, a convertible was offered that featured the same trim as the Cavalier, which has lead to many people grouping the cars together. Power for this model came from a 5.3L inline eight engine, and production continued until 1954. For 1954, the Cavalier convertible was rolled into the Packard Convertible, a one year offering.
