Packard Dominant Six (1912 to 1915)

The Packard Dominant Six was a range of full size luxury cars introduced for the 1912 model year. The Dominant Six was known by a variety of names, including Six, Model 38, and Model 48. The Model 48 variant was the larger of two offered, with the smaller Model 38 introduced in early 1913 as a 1914 model. The Dominant Six was also known by its series designation, such as Series 1-48, or Series 2-38, these names referred to the series (# of model year - 1912 is 1, 1913 is 2, etc) and then the model (38). The Dominant Six was offered with an 8.6L inline six (Model 48) or 6.8L inline six (Model 38). Body styles ranged from closed top to open top options, including runabouts, tourers, and phaetons. Production of the Packard Dominant Six ended in 1915.
