The Pegaso Z-102 was a series of limited production sports cars that debuted in 1951. The Z-102 was the only sports car built by Pegaso that was built in any significant number. These cars were built in coupe and convertible body styles, which were built by a range of coachbuilders such as Touring, Saoutchik, Serra, as well as Pegaso themselves. Each of these builders built a different amount of bodies, making some of these cars significantly more desirable than other more prevalent body styles. Initially, the Z-102 was powered by a 2.5L V8, but later cars featured a 2.8L or 3.2L V8, some with an optional supercharger. Regardless of engine, a 5 speed manual transmission was fitted, sending power to the rear wheels. Production of the Pegaso Z-102 ended in 1958, with a total of 83 examples built.
