The SL was introduced in 2015 as a mid-level model of the Polaris Slingshot. It maintains the distinctive three-wheel roadster-style body equipped with rear-wheel drive. Until 2019 it used the 2.4L inline four engine with 173hp and a 5-speed manual transmission, but from 2020 it adopted a 2.0L ProStar engine with up to 203hp. This new SL was available with a manual or transmission. It also offers more equipment than the base model, including Ride Command touchscreen, larger tires and an upgraded audio system.
