Porsche 911 GT3 R Rennsport (2023 to 2024)

The 2024 Porsche 911 GT3 Rennsport is a limited-edition, track-focused variant derived from the 992-generation GT3 R, built without the constraints of racing regulation. It features a 4.2 L naturally aspirated flat-six, which in Rennsport tune delivers 620 PS (456 kW) at 9,400 rpm, using custom pistons, camshafts, and engine mapping. The car uses a sequential 6-speed “dog-type” gearbox similar to the standard GT3 R but with modified ratios in higher gears. It targets a weight of 1,240 kg in race trim, yielding an exceptional power-to-weight ratio of about 2.0 kg/PS. The chassis retains the GT3 R’s double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension, with KW competition dampers adjustable in five settings and a blow-off valve to reduce harshness under high piston speeds. Braking is handled by monobloc aluminum AP calipers and titanium backing plates to reduce unsprung mass.  For aerodynamics and styling, Rennsport adds a retro-inspired spoiler, broader track, visible carbon body surfaces, and exclusive color and livery options. This edition is capped at just 77 units.
