The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS (992.2) is the a-wheel-drive variant of the new 911 Carrera GTS. This 992.2 GTS line-up represents a major leap for the 911 lineup, introducing hybrid technology for the first time. At its core is a reworked 3.6-liter flat-six engine paired with a motorsport-derived T-Hybrid system—a lightweight mild-hybrid setup featuring an electric turbocharger to boost both performance and efficiency. Power is delivered through a new 8-speed PDK transmission with an integrated electric motor that enhances low-end torque. The result is a combined output of around 532 horsepower, with just 50 kg added over the previous GTS, enabling 0–60 mph in just over 3 seconds. Rear-wheel steering is now standard, and the chassis, suspension, and brakes have all been reengineered to handle the added mass. Like the GTS, the Carrera 4 GTS is offered as a Coupe, Cabriolet, or a Targa variant.
