The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T (992.2) continues a tradition that traces back to the original 911 T (Touring) of 1968, which served as a lightweight, entry-level variant focused on driving purity. Over time, the “T” badge has come to represent a stripped-down, driver-oriented philosophy. Revived in 2017, the Carrera T was reimagined to shed excess weight and features, offering a more visceral experience. This ethos carries forward in the 992.2 generation, where the Carrera T is offered exclusively in rear-wheel drive coupe form with a six-speed manual transmission. It features the updated 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six delivering 388 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque, alongside performance upgrades like PASM sport suspension lowered by 10 mm, rear-axle steering, and a standard Sport Chrono package.
