Porsche 911 GT2 - Racing Version - 993 (1995 to 1996)

While most of 993 Porsche 911 GT2 production was for street use, an estimated 80 examples were built for racing use. As the 993 GT2 was created as a homologation special, these cars were the closest of the GT2s to their original purpose. Regulations for the GT2 racing series required these cars to be rear wheel drive, just as the road-going versions.
