Porsche 911 GT2 - Standard Model - 993 (1995 to 1997)

When it was introduced, the 993 Porsche 911 GT2 captured the attention of the entire automotive world. These hardcore homologation specials were created with racing in mind, making them incredibly capable roadcars. Although it is difficult to call any of the 993 GT2s standard, there was a Standard version, which is featured in this market. Initially, these cars were known as the 911 GT as these cars were the roadgoing version of the GT2 racing series cars, but regardless in 1997, the name was officially updated to 911 GT2. For most of production the turbocharged 3.6L flat six engine had an output of 424bhp, but for the last year, output increased to 450bhp. Approximately just 161 examples of the Standard 993 GT2 were ever built.
