Porsche Cayman S - Automatic - 987.1 (2006 to 2008)

The automatic-equipped Cayman S debuted for the 2006 model year. The Cayman S was the more performance focused variant of the 987.1 Porsche Cayman as well as the first to be introduced. Available exclusively as a coupe, these cars were powered by a 3.4L flat six engine that generated 291hp that was sent to the rear wheels through a 5 speed automatic (Tiptronic) transmission. Production of the automatic 987.1 Cayman S ended in 2008, but the variant would continue in the next generation as part of the 987.2 Porsche Cayman.
