The Renault 1000 Kg is a family of light commercial vehicles introduced in 1947. Two main versions of the 1000 Kg have been produced, the standard 1000 Kg, and the larger 1400 Kg. The 1000 Kg family came in a variety of commercial body styles, and were powered by a selection of gasoline or diesel inline four engines. These models became known as the Voltigeur (1000 Kg) and Goélette (1400 Kg) in 1956, but they are collectively known as the 1000 Kg. Production of the Renault 1000 Kg family of commercial vehicles ended in 1965.
