Riley RME (1952 to 1955)

Released in 1951, the Riley RME came to market as the replacement for the Riley RMA, yet still using the inline-four 1.5L shy of 60hp. Mechanical changes included a hydraulic braking system and a rear axel ratio for better acceleration. In terms of design they changed the mudguards, running boards and rear window, but overall, the RME was largely similar to its predecessor. Production lasted for 2 more years ending in 1953 after almost 3500 cars were produced.
