The second generation of Rolls-Royce Corniche was introduced in 1986. Known as the Corniche II, this new series was available as a coupe or convertible, and was powered by a 6.5L V8 engine. One of the easiest ways to tell a Corniche I from a Corniche II is the trunk mounted brake light. The Corniche II was built until 1989, and was replaced by the Corniche III.
