The RUF SCR is RUF Automobile's latest production model. First introduced in 2018, the SCR was developed drawing inspiration from the Porsche 911 (964), and while the exterior design resembles the classic 964, the components are entirely bespoke, with no parts shared with the original 964. Instead, it features a unique carbon-fiber monocoque chassis and body, and a lightweight interior featuring fixed-back hound’s-tooth Recaro seats. Powering the SCR is a water-cooled 4.0-liter flat-six engine inspired by Porsche's "Mezger" flat-six engines used in the 996 and 997 GT3 , producing 503 hp and 471 Nm 347 lb⋅ft of torque, wich coupled to a six-speed manual transmission takes the SCR to a top speed of 199 mph. The SCR also features an internal roll-cage made from lightweight steel that uses push rod suspension with Sachs dampers and stopping is provided by carbon ceramic brakes at all four corners.
