Salmson was a French engineering company that originally specialized in pump manufacturing, but in the early 20th century, turned its attention to automotive and aeronautical production. While the majority of Salmson's automotive manufacturing took place before WW2, there are a handful of models that were produced until the company declared bankruptcy in 1957. A few of the notable Salmson models include the S4, and the 2300 S.
