The Smart Forfour is a car that has been produced in two generations. The first generation, launched in 2004, was based on the Mitsubishi Colt and had a five-door hatchback body style. However, it was discontinued in 2006 due to slow sales. The second generation, introduced in 2014, was a result of a collaboration between Smart and Renault. It shared about 70% of its parts with the Renault Twingo. The second generation Forfour was discontinued in 2021.
