The Studebaker Power Hawk was a series of coupes that were introduced for the 1956 model year. The Power Hawk was the intermediate model in the Hawk Series, and was considered to be part of the Studebaker Commander family. This series of cars were fitted with a 4.2L V8 engine which came standard with a dual-barrel carburetor and 170hp. The same engine was also offered with a four-barrel caburetor and a dual exhausted that combined to generate 185hp. Production of the Power Hawk was limited to the 1956 model year, and it was replaced by the Studebaker Silver Hawk.
