Suzuki GP Series (1978 to 1992)

The Suzuki GP motorcycle series emerged in the late 1970s adopting styling inspired by Suzuki's Grand Prix racing success. Produced through much of the late 1970s and 1990s, the range evolved with clearly defined models including the GP100, GP125 and GP125U serving markets across Europe, Asia and Oceania. Power came from an air cooled piston ported two stroke single-cylinder engine ranging from 98 to 123 cc, with the GP125 developing approximately 15 horsepower, through a manual transmission depending on model, and chain final drive.
