In 1935, still under the name Talbot despite the buyout by the Rootes group, the Talbot 110 was released with its most potent six-cylinder engine yet. It produced 123hp and was a long car at over eleven feet, but it was refined with the help of the new producer's 12-volt electrical system and four-speed synchromesh transmission. The 110 was followed by the Talbot 8 in 1936. Both cars seemed like a swan song to a name that was evolving. The 110 ended production in 1937.
