The 1st Gen of the Toyota 86 was introduced for the 2013 model year. It was built in a two door fastback coupe body style, and featured a 2.0L flat four engine. This engine initially generated 197hp when launched, but at the end of production, versions up to 205hp were installed. Drive was sent to the rear wheels through a 6 speed manual or automatic transmission. A TRD Limited Edition was also available for this generation and the 1st Gen ended production in 2020 when it was replaced by the 2nd Gen Toyota 86.
