Toyota Corona - T130 - 6th Gen (1978 to 1983)

The T130 sixth generation Toyota Corona was introduced in 1978. It was available in sedan, coupe, wagon, and liftbacks. It maintained the rear-wheel drive configuration and offered a variety of inline four engines such as the 1.6L, 1.8L and 2.0L, with 4 or 5 speed manual transmission options and 3 speed automatic transmission. In some markets inline six and diesel engines were also available. The T130 stood out for incorporating more comfort and safety features, such as air conditioning, disc brakes, and power steering in higher-spec models. The T130 was produced until 1983, when it was replaced by the T140/150 seventh generation Toyota Corona.
