The S120 was introduced in 1983 as the seventh generation of the Toyota Crown. It was available in several body styles such as: 4-door sedan, coupe and wagon. It mantained its rear-wheel drive configuration and offered 4 and 5-speed manual transmissions, as well as 4-speed automatic. Powertrain options included the 2.0L inline four engine, as well as the 2.8L inline six engine and the diesel options (2.2L or 2.4L). It was the first generation to offer systems such as electronic air suspension and cruise control. The S120 was produced until 1987, when it was replaced by the S130 eighth generation Toyota Crown.
