Toyota FJ Cruiser TRD Special Edition (2007 to 2007)

For the 2007 model year, Toyota Racing Development (TRD) produced 3,200 units of a limited production FJ Cruiser TRD Special Edition for the North American market. This model was released with the body painted in a black diamond pearl color, and with a matching black roof to set itself apart from the base model. The special edition model included TRD cat-back exhaust system, TRD Bilstein offroad tuned shocks, rock rails, among others.  For model year 2008, the TRD Special Edition evolved into the Trail Teams Special Edition. A 'TRD package' would continue to be offered on the base model vehicles but with a more limited amount of features.
