The TRD Pro was introduced in 2017 as the most extreme off-road oriented version of the 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma. It was only available in Double Cab with all-wheel drive. Equipped with the 3.5L V6 engine (2GR-FKS), paired to a 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission, the TRD Pro stands out for its high-performance Fox suspension, front skid plate, all-terrain tires and exclusive cat-back exhaust. It features distinctive details such as a retro-style “TOYOTA” grille, TRD graphics and special colors. Its approach combines advanced off-road capability with premium equipment, positioning it as the most factory-prepared Tacoma for off-road use. The TRD Pro 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma was produced until 2023.
