Triumph Bonneville T120 (1958 to 1975)

The T120 was introduced in 1959 as a version of the 1st Gen Triumph Bonneville. It was initially designed for the American market, equipped with a 650cc parallel-twin engine with twin Amal carburetors. It offered superior performance for its time and became a benchmark for speed and style. The name "T120" alluded to its theoretical capacity to reach 120mph (193 km/h), a very attractive feature in the 1960s. It was distinguished by its classic aesthetics with a streamlined tank, chrome plating and elegant lines, as well as an agility that made it popular with young people, cafe racer enthusiasts and competition motorcyclists. It consolidated Triumph's reputation as a manufacturer of charismatic sporty motorcycles. The Triumph Bonneville T120 was produced until 1975 and was replaced by the Bonneville T140.
