In 1934 Triumph introduced the Gloria to the market. The Gloria consisted of a series of coachbuilt cars that included saloons, coupes, tourers, 2-seater sports cars, drophead coupes and even golfer’s coupes. The different variants were powered by either a four-cylinder (1087 or 1232cc) or six-cylinder (1467 or 1991cc) Coventry Climax paired to a four-speed manual transmission. Production lasted until 1938 when the Gloria was replaced by the Dolomite model.
