The Triumph Mayflower was a compact luxury car that was introduced in 1949. Built by the Standard Motor Company, the Mayflower was mostly built in a sedan body style, but a few convertibles were built, as well as an Australian market exclusive coupe utility. These cars were powered by a 38hp 1247cc inline four engine that sent drive to the rear wheels via a 3 speed manual transmission. Production of the Triumph Mayflower continued until 1953 when the model was discontinued.
