Ural M63 (1965 to 1971)

The Ural M-63 (1965–1971) was a key transitional model introducing modern features to Ural motorcycles. Powered by a 649 cc air-cooled flat-twin engine producing about 32 hp, it used a 4-speed gearbox with reverse and shaft drive. It was the first Ural to feature rear swingarm suspension, greatly improving ride comfort over earlier models. Built mainly as a 1-wheel-drive sidecar motorcycle, the M-63 combined classic Soviet styling with enhanced performance and durability, setting the foundation for later generations of Ural bikes.
