Ural Tourist (2002 to 2016)

The Ural Tourist was one of the most recognizable sidecar motorcycles produced by the brand, built from the late 1990s until around 2013. Designed as a civilian touring counterpart to the more rugged Patrol and Gear Up, the Tourist emphasized comfort, simplicity, and road-going manners. It featured the company’s signature 749 cc air-cooled, 4-stroke OHV flat-twin “boxer” engine, producing about 40 hp, coupled to a 4-speed manual gearbox with reverse and shaft drive. The Tourist was 1-wheel-drive, unlike its 2WD couter parts, making it smoother and lighter on pavement.
