The Vector Avtech WX-3 was a planned high-end supercar that only saw two prototypes built. Originally intended as the successor to the Vector W8, the Avtech WX-3 only reached the prototype stage due to Vector filling for bankruptcy in 1993. Of the two WX-3's that were actually built, one was a coupe and the other an open top roadster. These distinctive supercars were powered by a 7.0L twin-turbocharged V8 that was capable of up to 1,200hp under high boost pressure. This powerful engine was paired to a GM-sourced 3 speed automatic that sent power to the rear wheels.
