Volkswagen Golf GTI - Mk2 (1984 to 1992)

The second generation Golf GTI was introduced in 1984. Known as the Mk2 GTI, early models were fitted with a 1.8L inline four featuring Bosch fuel injection. Later models were available with a more powerful 16 valve engine, and sported indicative "16V" badging. Like all GTI's the second generation sported the distinctive red trim around the front grill, as well as the signature golf ball shifter.
