Volvo V70 R - Automatic - 2nd Gen (2003 to 2007)

The Automatic-equipped variant of the 2nd Gen Volvo V70 R was introduced for the 2003 model year. The V70 R was powered by a 2.5L turbocharged inline five engine that developed 296hp, which it sent to all four wheels via an automatic transmission. Initially, this transmission was a five speed unit, but from the 2005 model year onward, a six speed was used. These cars were performance focused machines that were highly capable on the roads, yet with their wagon body style, were also highly capable as a family car. Production of the automatic transmission equipped 2nd Gen Volvo V70 R ended in 2007.
