Good day.
I would like to bring my 1912 HODSON 33 TORPEDO to your attention.
I purchased the Hudson in Europe in 2003.
It had just been imported from America.
It's a HUDSON 33 TORPEDO Built in 1912
Chassis number 27633 and current Dutch registration number PM-76-99
The Hudson was in very good condition and, according to the seller, had been completely restored to its original condition Around the 1970s.
According to the seller, the HUDSON had always been roadworthy and complete.
The previous owner, a technical engineer, had owned the car for more than 40 years and carried out the renovation using original parts.
Only the front seat area has been renewed; the rest is still in its original condition, which is exceptional for its age.
The interior trim of the doors is also still original.
During the restoration, the engine was overhauled, with the previous owner producing a wealth of handwritten information.
The steering wheel looks as if it has just been renewed, but it is still original, which underlines the quality of the time.
A complete copy of the Parts Price List from February 1916 is available.
There are also many instructions on how to maintain the vehicle, such as lubrication and starting, in short, a comprehensive User Manual.
During the renovation, a water pump, oil pump, modern ignition, alternator, and starter were added to the engine using brackets produced by the previous owner, as well as
an oil pressure gauge and water temperature gauge, but in such a way that everything can be easily removed so that the car can be returned to its original condition.
The previous owner collected a lot of information about maintenance, as well as interesting documentation such as advertisements and recommendations from 1912.
The four tires were replaced in 2024.
I myself have fitted Tractor lights and indicators at the front and lights at the rear so that the car can also be driven in the dark, otherwise I would not have been granted a registration certificate in the Netherlands.
The original gas lights and the petroleum side and rear lights, as well as the original gas tank, are in perfect condition.
The polished mirrors on the left and right sides are also original, as is the temperature gauge on top of the radiator.
The convertible roof was replaced around the 1970s but was manufactured in the original design. The removable side windows are also present to make the car waterproof when it rains.
In short, the entire car is in its original condition and well maintained.
I have many photos of the car that I would like to share with you.
I want to sell the car because I am turning 77 this year and am slowly saying goodbye to my collections.
My name is Piet, I live in Roermond, Netherlands.
