The Framo 901-2, produced by East Germany’s VEB Barkas-Werke, was manufactured from 1954 to 1961 with a total of 29,455 units made. It succeeded the post-war V901 series (restarted in 1949) and was rebranded as the Barkas V 901/2 in 1957.
