The 1941 Willys 441 (also known as the Americar) was part of Willys-Overland's final passenger car line before WWII. Only the 1941-1942 models were called Americar as part of the patriotic trend of the time. The model numbers were 441 for 1941 and 442 for 1942. For 1941, approximately 22,000 Americars were produced across all body styles. This was Willys last passenger car before they shifted to military vehicles during WWII.
