This was a prior running Mercedes-Benz 1952 170V sedan that my father was in the process of restoring. My mom got sick in 2013 and passed away the following year. My dad had a stroke two months later in 2014 and all stopped due to his stroke. Prior to the stroke, he had the exterior repainted and had the windows reinstalled with new window rubber. The interior is original and in good condition. He lived in Big Bear Lake, CA and the vehicle was being reassembled in his garage. He would come down off the hill to Orange County to pick up parts he'd ordered and there are many parts still in the original packaging. We sold his house in 2025 and moved the vehicle and parts into storage in Santa Ana. The engine covers were painted with the rest of the vehicle, and are in the back seat wrapped in blankets so we could move it down the hill. He put in a new wire harness and it still needs final connections made to the electrical systems and devices. The radiator is in, but not connected to the engine. The steering column/wheel was temporarily put back into the vehicle to allow us to steer it into the box trailer. He has a lot of parts in boxes but we haven't unwrapped and inventoried everything. I did take it to Prom back in the early 80's when he first bought the vehicle off one of our clients.
It is definitely a project car, as it needs to be all put back together. $10,000.00 or best offer.....
