The 1954 Austin-Healey 100-4 presented here by Animoya Garage is a nut-and-bolt restored car with known history wearing its correct Carmine Red paint over a black interior and retains its original engine according to its Heritage Trust Certificate.
Completed on January 20th, 1954, this BN1 left the factory fitted with wire wheels, a kph speedometer, heater, dual S.U. type H4 carburetors and was originally delivered to Belgium. In reviewing its Heritage Trust Certificate, we know that a U.S Serviceman purchased the vehicle from Sogid Autos of Brussels later that year.
Approximately 15 years ago, this example underwent an extensive restoration and was prepped for vintage rallies and racing. In 2020, it was a participant in the Colorado Grand, and retains its FIVA ID Card. No. 66139, which documents the modifications and historical significance of the vehicle as well as giving it national and international recognition.
Though the restoration is older, it has clearly been maintained and remains in very nice condition both mechanically and cosmetically. It is fitted with numerous functional upgrades including a Brantz rally meter, Le Mans-style front hood, Le-Mans-style intake box, 72-spoke black wire wheels and correct Pirelli CA67 tires. It is outfitted and ready for whatever historical event one would wish to attend and has a proven track record of successful rally outings as exemplified by its Colorado Grand completion.
Included in the sale of this early british roadster are historical documents, complete weather gear such as side curtains and tonneau cover, jack, and various spare parts such as two hoods, air filters, bumper brackets, and more.
