what is twin h-power?
Twin H-Power was Hudson’s legendary performance upgrade for the Hornet!
It was a dual-carburetor induction system bolted onto the Hornet’s massive 308 cubic inch flathead inline-6 engine (nicknamed the “largest six-cylinder engine in the world” at the time). The two-carbs gave it extra breathing—and significantly more power—making it competitive against V8 engines in an era when everyone else was switching to V8s.
What made it special:
It’s part of what gives this ‘54 Hornet its historical significance. The car you’re looking at has a genuine piece of racing history under the hood!
