According to the listing details, 500 1955 Packard Caribbeans were produced. This was an increase from previous years—1953 and 1954 production was even more limited (around 750 total for both years combined), making the ‘55 the most “common” of the three convertible-only years. That said, with only 500 built, these are still exceptionally rare cars! This particular example is quite special, coming from the collection of renowned Packard historian and restorer N Gene Perkins.
