About this 1957 Chevrolet Nomad

VIN: VC57T179112

1957 Nomad

RARE! The ‘57 Chevrolet Nomad is one of the most recognizable and desirable cars of all time! There were only 6,103 ‘57 Nomads ever produced, making it the rarest from the Tri-Five Nomad series. They have always been highly sought after by collectors with its unmistakable two-door wagon silhouette. A true Chevrolet icon!

A STUNNING, CLASS ACT! This 1957 Chevrolet Nomad 2-door wagon is a harmonious blend of classic design and modern functionality, making it a standout for those who appreciate the legacy of American automotive history with the conveniences of today’s technology. This Nomad blends legendary Tri-Five style with modern performance and comfort. A very rare, show-quality wagon that is ready to drive and enjoy.

Exterior:
SHARP! Super straight body finished in a glossy jet-black exterior. All stainless steel trim has been reworked and buffed to perfection and all chrome has been refinished to show quality. For a clean, slick, restomod appearance, the front bumper bullets, hood rockets and hood VEE emblem have been removed.

Interior:
ELEGANCE! Moving to the interior the car returns to its more stock appearance with some subtle modifications. The upholstery is brand new, excellent condition and features a timeless two-tone black and silver bench seat. From the carpet to the headliner everything is new, including seat foam and carpet. All glass is new with power windows and electric door locks. Dash gauges have been upgraded to Dakota digital electronic gauges with electronic Speedo. Stereo is am-fm with 6 cd changer, power booster and power amp located in the rear. It has tilt column and Vintage Air heat/air/defrost.

Engine:
This car is the perfect blend of nostalgia and performance! With less than 3,300 miles on the brand new LT-1 fuel injected engine, this Nomad starts to really show off the high quality build it received with a very clean engine compartment. It has an aftermarket aluminum radiator with electric fan to keep it always running cool even in the Texas heat. The engine is set up as speed density with a performance program loaded in the computer. The motor is paired with an upgraded ‘95 4L60E automatic transmission. Exhaust is 2 1/2” aluminized pipe with Flow Master mufflers. This car isn't just about performance, it's built to be driven. Turn the key and enjoy one of the most iconic cars ever built, done right.

Brakes and Suspension:
Front suspension is tubular A-arms and 2” dropped spindles. Rear suspension has new mono leaf springs. It has power disk front brakes and drum on the rear.

Wheels and tires:
Tires and wheels are new 17”x8” Boyd billet polished 5-spoke wheels.

This beautiful Nomad wagon is in excellent condition. Runs and drives beautifully. Extremely well-kept. 100% garaged. Rust-free, turn-key, and reliable, it’s ready to cruise anywhere with confidence. It is extremely roadworthy… a beautifully executed blend of classic style, modern power, and real-world drivability. This is not a slapped-together restoration. It’s a thoughtfully built Nomad, perfect for cruising or cross country vacation drives.
