1958 Cadillac Series 62 Extended Trunk Sedan

This Caddy was purchased new by my grandparents in 1958 and eventually gifted to my brother. It has been their garage and not started since the 1980s.

The vehicle has the original engine and equipment and most likely will start with minimal effort.

Since I am a novice with classic autos I did not attempt to start or restore the vehicle. I wish to sell it as is.

This is a survivor from long ago that needs love and a new home!

Pros:
• purchased new in 1958
• one family owner
• garage kept entire life of vehicle
• taken off the road in the 1980’s
• good body and underside condition
• all original engine and equipment
• all four wheels roll when winched out of garage
• built like a tank (hood, doors, and trunk lid tight)
• extended trunk model
• two complete sets of keys (doors, ignition, trunk, glove box)
• clean title

Cons:
• last time started/driven over 40 years ago
• driver side front quarter panel damage (have approximately 2-inch missing chrome side body molding…please see trunk photos with hubcaps)
• driver side rear tire not holding air
• headliner gone; hangers present
• well-fitting seat covers applied; back seat cover nicely preserved; front seat with fraying seat cover; able to see factory upholstery peeking out from under front seat cover in photos
• one of the five metal strips on rear passenger door not applied (have the piece…please see trunk photos with hubcaps)
• chrome has some oxidation
• minimal amount tarnishing present on body of this sixty-seven-year-old survivor!

This is an AS IS SALE and the seller is relinquished of any future liability. The buyer has been given an opportunity to inspect the vehicle and understands it has not been started and driven in many years.
