This '58 Chevy Apache is near original - paint, interior/seat, uncut dash, engine, transmission, and all body panels. The engine was rebuilt about 20 years ago and is now a 261, the original 235 head can go with it if wanted. The rear bumper has been replaced, I have the original bumper if wanted. The engine starts and runs well. The rear differential was taken apart to replace the seal so it has new oil and seals. My mechanic said the gears are 'like new'. It has new Gabriel shocks within the last few years. It does have some rust through, but this truck is at least 90% solid. I wouldn't be afraid to drive this truck to the West Coast, it is mechanically sound, runs great, shifts well, and stops well. I have taken it out for a few 100 mile trips, loaded it up with firewood and I couldn't tell it had a load, I suppose due to the extra horsepower of the 261 and it's geared for power. Brakes and clutch are good, along with the tires. Let me know if you have any questions.
