1962 Triumph TR-4 in British Racing Green - fully restored.
VIN 12727 LO.
I purchased the TR in August of 2001 from the original owner, a US Navy fighter pilot on an aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean who was retiring.
He purchased the vehicle from the “Navy Auto Sales” on base, and the TR was then shipped to the US.
I have all the original purchase documents.
The Triumph was then disassembled and had a “Frame Off Restoration”.
The engine was professionally rebuilt by R. Johnson and Sons Engine Service here in RI.
The body was taken apart and painted by Art’s Automotive, Jamestown RI. in the correct PPG Green.
I have over $27,000 in original restoration receipts cataloged.
The car was reassembled using as many NOS parts from Michael Buonanduci in Vermont, parts from Roadster Factory, and also from Moss Motors.
The triumph has been registered and insured for 30K stated value since 2003.
I have all restoration and parts receipts, original documentation, restoration photos, and extra parts, to include SU carburators.
Price is negotiable.
Car is located in Rhode Island and garage kept.
