About this 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 2 Door Wagon

VIN: 132155Z155383

1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Two-Door Wagon RestoMod – Rare & Rowdy

One of only 653 two-door Chevelle wagons built in 1965, this Marina Blue RestoMod blends rarity with raw performance. With its race-inspired build and modern upgrades, this wagon is equal parts collector’s piece and street bruiser.
At its heart beats a 462 cu.in big-block (454 + .40 over), cranking out 502 horsepower. It’s topped with GM aluminum square-port heads, a GM snowflake intake, and a Holley 650 double pumper carb. Stainless 2” custom headers flow into a 2½” Borla-equipped exhaust, while MSD ignition keeps it sparking strong. Backing it up is a Richmond 5-speed with long shifter and Hurst handle, Mcleod clutch, aluminum driveshaft, and a Ford 9” rear with nodular case and Moser axles. Cooling comes courtesy of a 4-core aluminum radiator with electric fan.

Detroit Speed tubular arms, sway bars, and JRI coil-overs keep it planted, while Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with cross-drilled rotors deliver modern stopping power. Billet Specialties staggered wheels (18” front / 20” rear) wrapped in 225/45R18 and 245/45R20 rubber give it an aggressive stance.

Finished in excellent Marina Blue paint with subtle airbrushed graphics and faux trim, the wagon shows off a smoothed firewall, satin black underside, and new floor pans. Fit and finish are clean and sharp.

Inside, Pro Kar buckets up front and a re-done rear bench pair with fresh carpet, headliner, and panels. A carbon-look dash houses Auto Meter electronic gauges, auxiliary in-dash readouts, and a tilt SS wheel. Safety comes with Simpson lap belts, and an American Auto Wire harness keeps everything running clean. No A/C or heat—this one’s all business.

A rare two-door wagon with muscle car heart, pro-touring handling, and show-ready looks—this Chevelle RestoMod is equal parts conversation piece and thrill machine.
