The exceptional 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC on offer here, out of 37 year ownership and presented by Animoya Garage is finished in Rosso Corsa over a Black interior.
According to the detailed historical report by Marcel Massini, this 330 GTC was originally completed in December of 1967 wearing the incredibly rare shade of Verde Scuro (1 of 14) and delivered to the U.S via Luigi Chinetti Motors in New York, NY in January of 1968. Shortly thereafter it was sold to a prominent business owner out of Pennsylvania by the name of Darrell Reese Dean.
Five years later, in 1973, Darrell offered the car up for sale in the Ferrari Club of America Newsletter with roughly 24,000 miles. The car would remain for sale for at least one year before appearing in the Ferrari Club Owners USA membership roster owned by Thomas H. Claridge of Jacksonville, FL in 1976, by this time, the car had been repainted to red.
Over the next few years the car was offered for sale by a handful of individuals and was noted with a fresh repaint, new correct interior, new clutch, and engine rebuild. In 1980, the 330 was offered for sale in Decatur, IL with James Benton, and in 1989, the car was sold to Dr. Rosen of Waukegan, IL. The next entry for this 330 GTC, appears in 2008, when Dr. Rosen showed his 330 GTC at the Geneva Concours d’Elegance in Geneva, Illinois, still wearing red over a black interior. It has remained in the Rosen family for a total of 37 years and is now available for the first time since the family’s purchasing of the car in 1989.
Since 2016, Alex Motorsports Inc, of Hudson, FL began looking after the car mechanically. Over these next 10 years they would replace the fuel pump, reseal the transmission, rebuild the cylinder, replace brakes, as well as fluid changes. The current consignor has noted the car always ran great and has been maintained with consistency over the recent years.
Today, this GTC remains in excellent condition. The new owner can drive, enjoy, and show the car as it is, or invest in a full repaint back to its highly desirable original color which will surely increase the value as Green Ferrari’s have quickly become some of the most sought after cars by today’s collectors. Included in the sale of the 330 is the Massini Report, service records, original built sheet copy, original tool kit, and spare tire.
Please note - This car was built in 1967 but is titled as a 1968
