The 1967 Pontiac Firebird was the very first year for the nameplate, so its “predecessors” were earlier Pontiac models like the Tempest/LeMans/GTO.  Key 1967-only differences include:

• Hood: twin “vents” stamped into the steel (1968+ went to twin snorkels).
• Side trim: a single chrome spear running the length of the body—earlier Pontiacs had different (or no) side molding.
• Tail-lights: full-width aluminum panel with Firebird script; pre-’67 Pontiacs used conventional separated lamps.
• Engine lineup: 230 cid OHC six, 326 cid V8, plus the new-for-’67 400 cid V8 (same block as the GTO’s 400, but rated 325 hp in the Firebird).  Your listing claims a 400 ci V8, so if numbers-matching it would be one of the rare early 400 cars.
• Suspension: revised spring rates and sway-bar tuning compared with the shared A-body Tempest/LeMans, giving the Firebird a slightly firmer ride.
• Interior: exclusive dash with engine-turned aluminum panel and full-length console; earlier A-bodies didn’t offer this look.
