Exterior: The 1968 Fiat Dino 2000 Coupe we have for sale here has just come out of a recent restoration. It features a mirror-like paintwork unlike anything I’ve ever seen on a Fiat before. The color, Positano Yellow 208, suits the car exceptionally well. The lines are razor sharp, and the panel gaps are just perfect. The original 14-inch Fiat Chromodora wheels have been refurbished and recently fitted with new tires. Underneath, the car has been cleaned and treated with fresh undercoating, and it now looks much like it did when it first left the factory.
Interior: The interior of the Fiat Dino AC 135 is slightly different from the later BC 135, and the most noticeable differences are the instrument cluster and the classic, beautiful flip switches in the center. The seats in this car have recently been refurbished in the original-style vinyl with perforation in the center. All equipment and gauges are working as they should.
Engine and Mechanics: The engine has been removed from the car, and all gaskets surrounding it have been replaced. A compression test has been performed, and all cylinders are between 8-9 kg.
The brake system has been completely revised with new hoses, pads, master cylinder, and handbrake cables.
Complete new exhaust and fittings
New fuel pump and filters
New gearbox and engine mounts
New clutch cylinder, clutch disc, and release bearing
New water pump and thermostat
New bushings and trailing arms on the front end
New shocks all around
History: This Fiat Dino 2000 Coupe was first registered in Sweden in 1984. It has had two private owners up to today, and all previous owners in Sweden are known to us. The car comes with extensive photographic documentation of the recent restoration and invoices for parts. This is an opportunity to buy a very rare car, and we believe it could be one of the best on the market — very striking in its Positano Yellow color and with that raspy 2.0L V6 engine.
Why would you want to buy a Fiat Dino Coupe 2000?
To start with this is very rare today. It is a Fiat Coupe penned by one of the best designers in the world. Under the hood you have a twincam V6 Ferrari engine that makes this car sound just wicked! Fiats are synonymous with rust and this car has none of it! And last the colour combination is spectacular.
